It's the simple things which people think unnecessary that matters.
Been on a short hiatus while I attended HSS FOC 07. Brought back many memories, especially of e FOC of my batch. I'm so happy the group of us are still contacting and are good friends til now, 2 years from the camp. Had much fun fooling around and doing sai kang in the meantime. Quality bonding that normal kayteevee or shopping outings could never replace. =)
The best part of the whole camp was of course e Amazing Race, of which I was IC of and conveniently placed us good friends in one station, the kayteevee. Had such fun singing and antagonizing the freshies while persuading them to use their tokens. I'm so happy that I estimated the time so accurately, and after all the fun e freshies had, I just kept telling xunning, it's really 138 bucks well spent. heh.
Went out for supper with some of e seniors on the third night since rose drove, and got to know them much better. They had fun teasing me about how incessantly I seem to be able to talk and chit chat, and owed my headaches to my chatters. I think I was super slack. The whole camp I didnt take much public transport at all, not even the shuttle bus they chartered, only cars and lorries. haha.
Fourth day was Cluedo, where all of us main cast were "nominated" as the Best Actor/Actress/Supporting Actress/Supporting Actor. I was positively glowing at the end of the day when they applauded after my scene, or their gasps when the whole thing unfolded. Satisfaction 100% man.
Get-together was at the Alumni Club and that was when all of us dressed up and I took super alot of photos!
The food was good and the skits performed by the freshies were hilarious. Heh. Love 'em.
After having dinner at the XO fish head beehoon place, I went home and concussed til 930am the next day. Was supposed to head to Zouk but I really couldnt bring myself to dress up to go anywhere, even though I predicted he would be there. Just couldnt be bothered anymore. Went alley bar for a while ytd after work though. Nothing much.
The weekend before the camp was spent with da clique and bong bong! Met up with da clique in Daybed bar again, where we lazed around and crapped. We should do this more often, catching up and chilling out in the midst of all the madness around us. =)
We are all closet camwhores. Heh. Only went home in the morning since I was dead beat and yet didnt have the urge to go home. Wandered around in town for a while before settling ourselves in e HK cafe where we decided to wait for e first bus home.
Steamboat next with bong bong! Caught up with the neverending drama in her life while we gorge ourselves on fabulous food in preparation for my camp, which as I predicted, didnt have much edibles. Headed to haji lane and found a quaint little cafe called cafe claire, and had some weird drinks and this dessert that bong insisted was called "muahahahaha". Hilarious. It wasnt too bad and the chocolate ice cream they used was good, not the normal walls kind. Yum. The cleopatra drink bong had was delicious too! So going to order it the next time I'm there.
Yet to catch Harry Potter and Die Hard 4.0. Any takers?
